Description
During World War II, IWC gained military customers, particularly from the German Luftwaffe. This led to the creation of the Big Pilot’s Watch in 1940, designed for bomber pilots. It featured a large, 46.2mm steel case, simple dial, big crown for easy use with gloves, and a thick strap.
