Up for auction is this very unique one of a kind pendant that was made by us. You can call it “thinking green” as we repurposed old jewelry. The pendant wasn’t really a pendant to begin with. It started life as an open face 100 year old Waltham pocket watch. As with a lot of gold pocket watches, they end up getting scrapped for gold unless it’s a rare or unique timepiece.
We decided to try something different, we took a solid 14k gold pocket watch case and converted it to this amazing pendant. We added the $5 Liberty gold coin, the diamond around the coin is repurposed bezel from a ladies Rolex watch and the bale was necklace slide with amazing baguette diamonds. Individually the components are nothing to brag about but put them together and you have a gorgeous one of a kind pendant. Total carat weight is approx 3 carats of super nice clean VS diamonds, G/H color.
This is a one of a kind pendant. You will not find another one like it. Total weight is 30 grams. Diameter is 46mm wide. The case back has 2 small dings that you can’t really see. That was common for pocket watches especially for one that’s 100 years old or more.
