With every twist and turn of this opal and diamond ring reveals opulent clouds of intense pink, green and yellow flashes of trapped color. The solid 18kt white gold ring acts as a keeper of this beautiful natural Ethiopian opal and at the same time accents its colors with ice white diamonds. The opal is an oval cabochon cut held tightly by a 4-prong setting and each prong is doubled in strength for extra support. The gem weighs 5.09 carats and has a milky pinkish yellow bodycolor with a dazzling play-of-color. The setting is a halo style with accents featuring 36 round full cut natural diamonds graded G-H in color and SI1 in clarity with a total diamond weight of .41 carats. Just under the halo is an open filigree design carved out of the gold which certainly celebrates the centerpiece even more. The ring weighs 5.3 grams and is currently a size 6.75 and can be resized by us. It rises about 1/2” above your finger and its ring face measures just over 1/2” north and south and just over 3/8” east and west. The ring is Brand New as we set the opal in the setting.
